Pippa Middleton’s Tush Causing Cosmetic Surgery Furor
The wedding of the United Kingdom’s Prince William to the lovely Kate Middleton captured the world’s imagination, but the media spotlight quickly moved to the bride’s younger sister Pippa. First it was the dress. Clothing designers rushed to their drawing boards to create stylish copies of Pippa Middleton’s form fitting, bottom-hugging bridesmaid gown. Now it’s the bottom that dress showed off so to such gorgeous effect. Admiration for Pippa’s well-shaped derriere has created a flood of cosmetic surgery requests to duplicate the famous bottom. Lifts, tucks and liposuction to re-sculpt fannies in Pippa’s curvaceous image have quickly become the most requested cosmetic surgery procedures in the U.K. where requests for bottom-enhancing cosmetic procedures have risen 500% since the royal wedding. While Americans are not quite as besotted with the near-royal bum as our British cousins, cosmetic fanny procedures have recently experienced a dramatic increase in popularity all across the U.S., say board-certified Cleveland cosmetic surgeons.
Beautiful bums have been on America’s radar since Jennifer Lopez cut her first music video. Jennifer was the first to focus the public spotlight on a part of the anatomy usually kept hidden from view. Jennifer’s luscious curves made bottoms sexy, and fanny envy spurred the development of a major cosmetic surgery market. Women didn’t want flat, barely-there fannies any more. They wanted high, perky bottoms with lots of sass, like Jennifer’s.
But Pippa Middleton’s derriere is beginning to edge out even Jennifer’s perfect backside as the image of American feminine perfection. Cleveland cosmetic surgery patients are asking for Pippa’s bum these days, not Jennifer’s, pushing the famous fannies of Kylie Minogue, Serena Williams, Kim Kardashian and Kelly Brook into the background.
