Having Cleveland Cosmetic Surgery? You Don't Have to Tell!
Cleveland cosmetic surgery has gone mainstream. Once taboo, it’s come out of the closet and into the spotlight. If you read the celebrity blogs or watch Entertainment Tonight, it often seems like everyone in Hollywood is getting a nip here or a tuck there. And what happens in Hollywood eventually filters down to the rest of us. We may not light up the silver screen, but we too care about our appearance and maintaining our youthful good looks as long as possible.
In a 2010 survey of general consumer attitudes, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery discovered that:
- 51% of Americans approve of cosmetic plastic surgery
- 33% of Americans said they would consider cosmetic surgery for themselves
- 67% of those surveyed said they would not be embarrassed if their family or friends knew they had undergone a cosmetic surgery procedure
However, despite broad acceptance of Cleveland cosmetic surgery as an acceptable way to enhance appearance, some people prefer to keep the fact that they’ve undergone a cosmetic procedure to themselves. Some people are simply more private and less comfortable sharing intimate experiences with their friends. Just as there’s nothing wrong with discussing your latest procedure with the crowd at the gym, there’s nothing wrong with keeping your procedure a private affair between you and your Cleveland plastic surgeon.
Whether or not to tell people about your cosmetic surgery procedure is a very personal decision. Each individual patient has the right to make that decision for him or herself. Cleveland cosmetic surgery patients will find Dr. Vicente Poblete and his caring staff to be completely discrete in this matter. Patient confidentiality is always respected and protected. After all, this is your news to tell, but only if you choose to do so.
