Cleveland Clinic Ranked Among Top 4 U.S. Hospitals

In its just released annual 2012 Best Hospitals edition, U.S. News & World Report ranked the Cleveland Clinic one of the Top 4 hospitals in the United States. Cleveland Clinic’s heart program was ranked No. 1 in the nation for the 17th consecutive year. U.S. News ranked Cleveland Clinic among the Top 10 hospitals in 16 medical specialties and in the Top 20 in all categories measured.
Four Cleveland Clinic programs – cardiology, gastroenterology, urology and kidney disorders – were ranked in the Top 2 nationwide, and 9 Cleveland Clinic programs were ranked in the national Top 5. In Ohio, Cleveland Clinic was ranked No. 1 in 15 medical specialty categories. While plastic surgery was not one of the medical specialties measured in the U.S. News hospital comparisons, Cleveland Clinic’s sterling reputation for excellence in all medical fields is well-known and highly respected by both the national medical community and Cleveland Clinic patients. Cleveland Clinics commitment to providing state-of-the-art cosmetic surgery and superior patient care has earned it a regional reputation as a top cosmetic surgery center.
One of Ohio’s top plastic surgeons, Dr. Vicente Poblete is proud to be associated with Cleveland Clinic. Testimonials from Dr. Poblete’s Cleveland cosmetic surgery patients attest to the superior care patients receive from Dr. Poblete and his staff and the staff at Cleveland Clinic.
Since 1990, U.S. News has been ranking U.S. hospitals to assist consumers in choosing the best hospital for specific medical issues. After careful consideration of data from nearly 5,000 hospitals across America, U.S. News selected 140 hospitals for recognition as America’s best hospitals. Of those 140, only 17 hospitals – including Cleveland Clinic – were recognized as the Best of the Best and named to U.S. News’ hospital honor roll.
