Your Plastic Surgeon - How to Make a Good Choice

Plastic Surgery EnhancementWe've all thought about the what ifs – what if we could just magically change a few things about our own body. Getting rid of those scars on your shoulder, fast forward your exercise program six months with moderate liposuction, enlarging or reshaping our breasts, eliminating those saggy bags beneath our eyes.

Once whimsical dreams of being able to accomplish these changes are now the de-facto regularity in the modern world of plastic surgery. Every day, people have procedures done and leave feeling better; looking better than they have in years. Here are a few considerations as you review which plastic surgeon is the best match for you.

  • Safety– Choose a plastic surgeon that is board certified in plastic surgery. Before a plastic surgeon is able to become “board-certified” there are many things which need to be accomplished: a 4-year training program, 3-5 years residency, and 2-3 years of specialized plastic surgery training. Physician training and expertise are imperative when choosing your plastic surgeon.
  • Financing- Another big concern with plastic surgery is being able to pay for it. A good surgeon will walk you through the costs involved and affordable options for financing.

We invite you to review before and after photos of patients to get an idea of what plastic surgery can do to help you look and feel your best. You may also be interested in our free Patient Guide to get answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about cosmetic procedures.
