- To reduce age spots, always wear a broad spectrum sunscreen to protect your skin from both UVA and UVB rays. Sun damage can lead to facial lines and wrinkles. You can increase your skin’s natural resistance to sun damage by eating foods rich in lycopene, which is found in tomatoes and tomato products, watermelon, pink grapefruit and red peppers. The polyphenols in fresh-brewed green tea may help repair sun damage.
- For soft, supple skin, indulge yourself with dark chocolate—the higher the percentage of cacao the better. Chocolate bars and cocoa have to be at least 70% cacao to provide any benefit.
