 Physician training and expertise is imperative when choosing your plastic surgeon. J. Vicente Poblete, M.D., FACS has advanced credentials. He is board certified in both General and Plastic Surgery and a member of the two plastic surgery societies: The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and The American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Dr. Poblete graduated with distinction from the University of Pennsylvania with his BA in Biology. He received his Medical Degree at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville where he became interested in specializing in plastic surgery.
Dr. Poblete completed a five-year general surgery training program at St. Vincent’s Hospital & Medical Center in New York and is a diplomate of the American Board of Surgery. He received a Fellowship in Hand Surgery at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and completed his residency training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the New England Deaconess/Beth Israel Hospital-Harvard Medical School in Boston. Dr. Poblete completed advance training in surgical facial aesthetics at The Plastic Surgery Center of the Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Dr. Poblete has advanced training in body contouring procedures at the Vaser Institute in Colorado utilizing the latest technology available in liposuction called LipoSelection™ only by VASER®. This technology, combined with an abdominoplasty or “tummy tuck” and posterior body lifts, can offer post-pregnancy and massive weight loss patients optimal results.
For breast enhancement procedures, Dr. Poblete offers our patients a choice of saline or silicone implants (Natrelle™ or MemoryGel™). He is the only physician in our area to use a pain pump post-operatively, which minimizes the use of narcotics and decreases incidences of nausea and vomiting.
Facial rejuvenation treatments include both surgical and non-surgical modalities. Dr. Poblete had advanced training in surgical procedures including brow lifts, facelifts and blepharoplasty or eye tucks. Non-facial rejuvenation consists of the latest in fillers, BOTOX® Cosmetic, skin health care or any combination to provide a more youthful appearance.
 Dr. Poblete was instrumental in bringing The Spirit of Women Program to Community Heath Partners. The Spirit of Women advances the cause and business of women's health and believes in "moving women to good health." It is a community based and nationally integrated program. He has represented Community Health Partners at the Spirit of Women national conferences with the focus of promoting women health and wellness. Dr. Poblete is a member of Community Health Partners Center for Women's Health.
